Founded in 1981, SalDan is now led by Sam Biasucci and his son, Joey Biasucci, combining decades of experience with a forward-looking, next-generation approach to the world of construction.

  • Built in excess of 6000 single family homes from Sault Ste. Marie to the Greater
    Toronto Area in a span of over 40 years to date.
  • Ten home project for the Urban Native Co-Operative in Wawa, Ontario. This project was a Design Build project, completed in September 1992.
  • Thirteen house project for the Cochrane Temiskaming Native Housing Corporation in Chapleau, Ontario.
  • Completed yet another unique and luxury home in excess of 10,000 sq. ft in the Ledbury Park neighborhood in Toronto, Ontario.
  • Completed and sold two large luxury homes in the Ledbury Park neighborhood in Toronto, Ontario.
  • Constructed a 5000 sq. ft. luxury custom home in the coveted Chartwell/Cornwall Rd. neighborhood in Oakville, Ontario.
  • Renovated more than 30 properties in the Greater Toronto Area in the past 5 years ranging from $50,000 to $1 million conversions including multiple single-family dwelling to multi-unit for investment properties
  • Bianchi Estates – 90 lot residential subdivision in Sault Ste. Marie, which started in the spring of 1992. This project also included lot planning and civil services.
  • 42 lot upscale residential subdivision in the Parkview Court in Sault Ste. Marie. Started in the fall of 1996, this project also included planning and lot servicing.
  • 18-lot residential subdivision in Millennium Court in Sault Ste. Marie. Started in the fall of 1999, this project also included Site Planning and Civil Servicing.
  • 67-acre parcel of land for our exclusive multiple unit residential subdivision in Sudbury. Known as “Sunrise Ridge Estates”, SalDan has built more than 100 homes that are currently occupied.
  • Phase 1 of the White Pines subdivision in Hanmer (Sudbury)
  • Completed our “Denwood Subdivision” which is comprised of 85 units of double dwellings for the starter family or retirement, now completely Sold Out.
  • “Lakeview Subdivision” in Sudbury, comprised of 52 upscale homes.
  • “Dominion Park Subdivision” in Hanmer (Sudbury), comprised of 45 upscale single-family homes.
  • Currently completing three new subdivisions in and around Sudbury with over 30 homes.
  • “Cody Point” upscale subdivision from planning to occupancy of more than 25 homes. This project also included Planning and Development.
  • “Lang Court Subdivision” in the Fort Creek area of Sault Ste. Marie, consisting of single residential homes surrounded by duck ponds and beaver dams heading into the Fort Creek Conservation Lands.
  • “Parkinworth subdivision” in Sault Ste. Marie, with 40 affordable homes
  • Sault Ste. Marie’s P-Patch neighbourhood, comprised of 30 lots on Paradise, Peach and Promenade Streets.
  • Crestwood Avenue in Sault Ste Marie includes, 30+ single family homes and 14 townhouses. 
  • “Central Creek” is located in Sault Ste. Marie’s west end and is a 26-lot subdivision of single-family homes. SalDan was responsible for Land Planning, Civil Servicing and Construction.
  • “Denwood Subdivision” in Sault Ste. Marie
  • “Queensgate Subdivision” which is comprised of 60 lots.
  • “Blais Court Subdivision” in Hamner, Ontario in the Sudbury area which was comprised of 20 lots.
  • “Trottier Subdivision” in Azilda Ontario just outside of Sudbury. This community was comprised of 25 lots.”
  • “Mulberry Street Subdivision” Comprised of 31 Lots in the sought after Foxborough Trail Subdivision in Sault Ste Marie.
  • Forty-unit townhouse co-op for Vesta Co-Operative Homes Inc. in Sault Ste.
    Marie. Completed in 1991. This project also included planning and civil services.
  • Forty-unit townhouse project for the Michipicoten Housing Corporation in Wawa,
    Ontario. Completed September 1992.
  • 42-unit townhouse with a 10-unit apartment building for Aile-Nord Co-Operative Homes Inc. in Sudbury. Completed October 1992, this project was a Design Build which also included planning and civil services.
  • Thirty-unit townhouse for Antigonish Co-Operative Homes Inc. in Sudbury. Completed July 1994, this project was a Design Build which also included planning and civil services.
  • 62-unit residential townhouse subdivision “Village Court” in Sault Ste. Marie. Completed July 1996, this project was a Design Build which also included planning and civil services.
  • Ten-unit residential townhouse project on Allen Side Road in Sault Ste. Marie. Completed May 1996, this project was a Design Build.
  • 44-unit townhouse and single-family housing on Lake Street in Sault Ste. Marie. Completed August 1999, this project was a Design Build which also included planning and civil services.
  • 26-unit townhouse complex “Bridgeview Village” in Sault Ste. Marie. Completed August 1999, this gated community was a Design Build project that also included Land Planning and Civil Servicing.
  • 45-unit upscale residential townhouse project in Parkplace Court in Sault Ste. Marie. Started Spring 2000, this project was a Design Build which also included planning and civil services.
  • Phase 1 of our townhouse development “Fox Run,” where we have sold 57 Townhomes. We have the nicest retirement independent living community in the Sault Ste. Marie area. With Phase 2 starting as soon as possible, it will be comprised of 30 more new homes. It is turning into a nice little community already.
  • Built a 60-unit town house complex for Raiffeisen Co-Op Homes Inc. in Sudbury.
  • Built a 30-unit town house complex for Antigonish Co-Op Homes Inc. in the town of Azilda, Ontario.
  • Built a new 10-unit town home complex “Copper Cliff Development” just outside of Sudbury.

  • Completed renovation at RM Moore Public School in Sault Ste. Marie.
  • Completed a 16-million-dollar renovation at Boreal School in Sault Ste. Marie in 2019.
  • Completed a 5-million-dollar addition to Central Algoma Secondary School in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
  • Completed a 4.6-million-dollar school renovation at the Central Algoma Elementary School which included new lab rooms, 5 washrooms, and a new front entry addition and façade.
  • Completed a 3-million-dollar renovation to Korah Collegiate in Sault Ste. Marie which included a new atrium and façade.
  • Completed a 4.6-million-dollar renovation to Eastview Public School in Sault Ste. Marie.
  • Completed a 100,000 sq. ft. commercial shopping centre in Ottawa which is comprised of a main building housing Shoppers Drug Mart, Staples, Bulk Barn and various medical offices, as well as independent stores for the LCBO, TD Bank and Harveys/Swiss Chalet.
  • Built an 8,000 sq. ft. TD Bank at Marlee and Eglinton in Toronto.
  • Redeveloped the Scottsdale Plaza in Guelph, a 45,000 Sq. ft. Shopping Plaza.
  • Planned and Built the over 100,000 sq. ft. Shopping Plaza at Canamera Parkway and Franklin Street in Cambridge, Ontario.
  • Planned and Built the Stockyards Shopping Centre Plaza at Keele and St. Clair in Toronto.
  • Developed several stand-alone buildings for various vendors throughout Ontario, some of which include for Marks Work Warehouse, LCBO, Shoppers DrugMart, Metro, Staples, TD Bank, Starbucks, Shoeless Joe’s, CIBC, Little Ceasars, Pizza Hut and McDonald’s.
  • The newest Phase for Central Algoma Elementary School and Daycare, with an 8-million-dollar addition just getting underway.
  • Superior Heights Field House received a $1,350,000.00 new memorial building to honour the memory of Sargent John Faughts, an alumnus of the school. This project also included a full sport field illumination component.
  • Constructed the BP Health building for various dental practices. The new $3,500,000 free standing clinic is located in Sault Ste. Marie.
  • Repurposed a former nursing home for PHARA Supportive Housing, converting it into a 35-unit senior apartment living complex, a nurse practitioner clinic, and adult learning center, as well as some administration offices. This building is located in Blind River, Ontario.
  • Built a new daycare addition to St. Francis School in Sault Ste. Marie, as well as civil work for a new school yard.
  • A new 30,000 sq. ft. shopping Plaza in Sudbury’s South End for Smart Centre which includes retail shopping and a new free-standing LCBO store.
  • Built a 60,000 St. Ft. grocery store in Sault Ste. Marie for Pino’s Get Fresh.
  • Built the Blind River Municipal Maintenance facility – a new 15,000 sq. ft. maintenance and service building.
  • Built a 2500 sq. ft. Mike’s Mart store in Sault Ste. Marie.
  • Constructed a 5400 sq. ft. warehouse for Hostess Potato Chips in Sault Ste. Marie.
  • Built an 8000 sq. ft. mechanics repair shop in Sault Ste. Marie.
  • Built a 5000 sq. ft. Fire Hall in Blind River, Ontario.
  • Blind River Marina received a new 4000 sq. ft. facility.
  • Built a 10,000 sq. ft. banquet hall in Sault Ste. Marie.
  • Built The Hillside Centre in Sault Ste. Marie – a 14,000 sq. ft. mini mall.
  • Built the Crystal Creek Hydro Electric Generating Plant in Sault Ste. Marie.
  • Built the Norcam Currency Exchange Building in Sault Ste. Marie.
  • The New Apostolic Church in Sault Ste. Marie received a full make over and repurposing of the building.
  • Built a new 10 unit building in Echo Bay, near Sault Ste. Marie.
  • Built a new 64 room hotel for Microtel in Sault Ste. Marie.
  • Built and Operate the RBC Dominion Securities building in Sault Ste. Marie which is a 28,000 sq. ft. office building.
  • Build the Bridgeview Bingo complex in Sault Ste. Marie, a new 10,000 sq. ft. building.
  • Built the Crown Motel Super 8 in Sault Ste. Marie, a new 64-unit motel.
  • Built the Greenbelt Bingo building in Sault Ste. Marie, a new 10,000 sq. ft. facility.
  • Renovated an office space for Dave Ellis Architect in Sault Ste. Marie, a new state of art 2500 sq. ft. professional office space.
  • Built the B.M.R. Building in Sault Ste. Marie, a new 4500 sq. ft. state of the art professional office space.
  • Renovated the Queenscentre office building in Sault Ste. Marie, a 45,000 sq. ft. building which underwent a total make over with a new modern atrium addition.
  • Renovated Korah Collegiate Highschool in Sault Ste Marie. Included entrance way, interior, as well as bistro and kitchen.
  • Renovated East View Public School in Sault Ste Marie. Included new entrance way, interior, restrooms, etc.
  • Renovated corner location for the new IDA  in downtown Sault Ste Marie as well as office space above.
  • Sixteen-unit and eight-unit seniors project for Neech-Ke-When Homes Inc. in Sault Ste. Marie. Completed July 1993, this project was a Design Build which also included planning and civil services.
  • Constructed an 87-unit multi-family residence for the Finnish Rest Home in Sault Ste. Marie. This project won SalDan the ICF Builder of the Year award for Best Multi Family Building.
  • Constructed an 80-unit multi-family residence for the Ontario Finish Rest Home in Sudbury.
  • Renovated the Great Northern Retirement Home in Sault Ste. Marie including the retrofit of the sprinkler system and various other improvements. 
  • Added a 95 bed Long Term Care wing at the Algoma Manor in Thessalon, Ontario.  The project was complete with all civil work and yard improvements.
  • Espanola Hospital Maintenance Facility got a new 6000 sq. ft residence building
  • Built a new Group Home Facility for Christian Horizon in Gravenhurst/Keswick.
